Job Description
The Dental Assistant will provide primary care dental services to patients at Zufall Health Center (ZHC). This role involves assisting the dentist, sterilizing instruments and supplies, preparing and dispensing prescriptions, and maintaining dental equipment. The position requires ensuring HIPAA compliance and demonstrating empathy while serving a diverse patient population.
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of dental assisting techniques
- Knowledge of modern dental materials
- Completion of accredited course in dental assisting (preferred)
- Valid Radiology license in NJ
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- CPR (BLS) certification
- Current Active Radiology license
- Understanding trauma informed care
- Current typing skills
