The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring dishes, pots, and pans are clean and properly stored, and maintaining the restaurant's overall cleanliness.
Requirements
- Load and unload a dishwashing machine appropriately and efficiently
- Take out the trash and make sure it is secure inside of the dumpsters
- Sweep floors, mop and make sure the dishwashing area is neat, organized, and clean
- Assist in food preparation and service as needed
- Ensure employee restrooms are cleaned and neat for every shift
- Clean and maintain the front of the house areas
- Organize all areas of the kitchen and maintain deliveries and cleanliness
- Follow strict health and hygiene standards
- Safely and efficiently use kitchen tools and equipment
- Promote teamwork and interact with employees in a fair and professional manner
- Maintain knowledge and practice the company's mission and vision, policies and procedures, and employee handbook
- Create and maintain a positive, safe and healthy work environment
