Job Description
The Maintenance Mechanic role involves performing maintenance at assigned properties in accordance with company standards, ensuring physical property conditions meet ownership and management objectives. This position is 40-hour, Monday-Friday, and may require some weekend work, with on-call availability. It’s responsible for responding to requests for work orders and ensuring buildings are safe and functional.
Requirements
- Basic working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Working knowledge of tools, including hand and electrical tools.
- Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
- Proficient in basic office computer software including internet, e-mail, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work an on-call schedule and be available during emergencies if required.
- Physical stamina for various job tasks (lifting, climbing, driving).
