Provide 1:1 play-based instruction to clients with autism and related developmental disabilities, implement behavior intervention plans, and conduct preference assessments and skill building activities. Must have a high-level of energy and passion for working with a diverse population adults.
Requirements
- Completed Bachelor's degree program with a preference in Psychology, Child Development, Communication Disorders, Education or related field
- 3+ year's experience implementing behavior intervention services with individuals with special needs
- 2+ year's experience working with SEVERELY CHALLENGING BEHAVIORS and implementation of related intervention strategies
- Must pass a criminal background check (FBI/DOJ clearance)
- Minimum of two years’ experience working with intellectually disabled adults, prefer ILS experience, or special education teaching experience
