The Accounting Clerk is a key component of Abstract's Accounting and Finance team, responsible for a wide range of tasks including receiving, processing, and verifying invoices, reconciling bank accounts, and preparing cheques.
Requirements
- Two (2) years of related experience
- Knowledge of GAAP and real estate related accounting practices
- Ability to learn payroll processing, or experience in this
- High attention to detail and accuracy of work
- Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility and confidentiality
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office (SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Basic understanding of project contractual commercial terms
- Jonas Premier accounting software experience preferred
- Successful completion of a background check
