GeoStabilization International (GSI) is seeking an IT Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting the systems, tools, and technologies that power a leading geohazard mitigation contractor. The internship is 11 weeks long and is based out of the Denver, CO headquarters. Interns will work alongside IT professionals and have the opportunity to contribute meaningful work, develop professional skills, and showcase their potential to launch a career with GSI.
Requirements
- Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Architecture, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Analytics, Data Visualization, or a related field.
- Expected graduation in December 2026 or Spring 2027.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA; 3.5 preferred.
- Familiarity with analytics concepts and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
- Strong interest in data modeling, reporting, dashboarding, or AI-driven analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently lead training sessions and present to employees across the organization.
- Curiosity, initiative, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make recommendations based on both technical understanding and business context.
- Comfort collaborating with multiple teams and navigating varying levels of technical literacy.
