Job Description
The Community Habilitation Worker R – Enhanced 2 is seeking individuals to provide skill-building training and supports to Individuals with Developmental Disabilities in the Hudson Valley area. The role involves mentoring, teaching daily living skills, and assisting with personal outcomes, based on a community and/or certified setting. Travel may be required and requires attending required trainings.
Requirements
- Experience with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Strong interpersonal and engagement skills
- Ability to document services and understand regulations
- Must be capable to sit or stand in front of a computer for long periods of time
- Able to work in open space floor plan
- Ability to move throughout work day and follow people served throughout community
- Willingness to travel
