Job Description
Community Habilitation Workers are sought for various locations in the Hudson Valley area to provide skill-building training and support to Individuals with Developmental Disabilities, working both in the community and at home. The role involves mentoring, teaching daily living skills, and supporting individual outcomes based on their individual plans. The position requires a commitment to documenting services and following employer policies.
Requirements
- Fluent in American Sign Language
- Electronic and real-time technological reporting
- Prior experience with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (IDD), Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
- Strong interpersonal and engagement skills
- Ability to document services and understand regulations
- Bilingual English and Spanish speaking a plus
