High School_Chemistry Teacher (2024-2025)

Achievers Early College Prep Charter School is seeking a High School Chemistry Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, self-motivated, and committed to delivering rigorous instruction. The teacher will be responsible for designing and implementing curriculum, using data to inform instructional practices, and communicating effectively with students, families, and colleagues.

Requirements

• New Jersey Department of Education Standard Certificate, Certificate of Eligibility (CE), or Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (CEAS) in General Science, Biology, Physics, or Chemistry
• Possession of a current and valid teaching certificate in the appropriate subject/content area issued by the New Jersey Department of Education
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position
• Familiarity with Next Generation standards
• Experience/comfort with online applications to enhance learning
• Familiarity with Google Classroom and virtual meeting platforms
• Adept interpersonal and communication skills to diverse audiences
