Job Description
The ACLU and Southern Collective are seeking to deepen the pool of talented legal interns. The ACLU is a nationwide organization dedicated to civil rights and social justice. This internship program, with a focus on Southern Collective affiliates, will provide interns with an opportunity to contribute to legal, policy, and organizing campaigns in the regions they serve. Interns will work with ACLU affiliates in 13 states.
Requirements
- Current law student (graduating no earlier than December 2026)
- Member of the National Black Law Students Association OR membership in your law school's Black Law Student Association chapter.
- Strong research and writing skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft programs
- Ability to take initiative, think creatively, problem solve and take ownership of projects
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
