Job Description
ActiveCampaign is seeking an Engineering Manager - Data Infrastructure & Platform to lead and grow our data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring 4+ years of hands-on technical leadership and people management experience, including successfully leading teams responsible for 24/7 production systems.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on technical leadership and people management experience
- Proven experience building, deploying, and scaling high-throughput data and platform applications in a public cloud environment (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Expertise across the modern data infrastructure stack, including MySQL, NoSQL (e.g., Cassandra), and event streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka)
- A demonstrated ability to drive operational rigor and achieve excellent system availability for critical production services
- Experience applying DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to managed services
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical strategies to both engineering teams and executive stakeholders
