Registered Nurse - Bronx (Residential Services)

ADAPT Community Network is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their team supporting adults with developmental disabilities at one of their residential programs in the Bronx. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing evaluation, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention, as well as coordinating health care services and training staff. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.

Requirements

• License and current registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York
• CPR Certification
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with coworkers, employees, individuals, families and outside contacts
• Must be able to maintain the strictest confidentiality
• Knowledge of equipment typically used by persons receiving services, including wheelchairs and adaptive devices
• Must be willing to work at various program sites
