Registered Nurse - Residential

We are currently filling an RN vacancy in one of our Staten Island Residential Programs for adults with developmental disabilities. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing services for individuals living in ADAPT Community Network’s residential programs.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program of professional nursing
• At least one year of nursing experience, preferably in community-based health services or with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Current license and registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of New York
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with the people we support, families, colleagues, and external providers
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and computer-based documentation
• Must maintain confidentiality at all times
• Knowledge of adaptive devices, mobility supports, and medical equipment commonly used by individuals with developmental disabilities
