Senior SecOps Engineer

The role of Senior SecOps Engineer involves providing security guidance, managing cloud security, designing and implementing security solutions, and driving security best practices. This includes vulnerability scanning, risk analysis, threat modeling, incident response, and automation. The ideal candidate will maintain documentation and knowledge resources, and collaborate with various teams to enhance cyber resilience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in SecOps, particularly in managing security in cloud environments.
• Expertise in AWS security tools (IAM, CloudTrail, WAF, SecurityHub), Azure security components (Azure AD, Security Center).
• Strong programming and scripting skills in Python and PowerShell.
• Experience with container security solutions including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cloud management, including networking, RBAC, and security policy enforcement.
• Familiarity with automation tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• In-depth knowledge of firewall technologies and hands-on experience with products like FortiGate.
• Proficiency in endpoint protection solutions and security monitoring tools.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity concepts including access control and vulnerability management.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer, and Fortinet NSE are highly desirable.
