Job Description
Cloudinary is seeking a Senior SecOps Engineer to be a security and operations expert on their globally scalable, production systems. This hands-on role involves threat detection, incident response, incident management, security hardening, and security governance, working with DevOps, SRE, and R&D teams. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, security awareness, and leadership. The company aims to secure massive-scale systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years in Security Operations/Cloud Security/Blue Team roles
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS (IAM/GuardDuty/CloudTrail/CloudWatch)
- Proficiency in Python or Go for security automation
- Experience with SIEM/log analytics (ELK/OpenSearch, Splunk, etc.)
- Solid understanding of CI/CD security and supply chain security (SAST/DAST/IAST, dependency scanning, secrets management)
- Experience with security governance and compliance
- Willingness to participate in a shared on-call rotation
