Job Description
Adventist Health is seeking a Hospice Chaplain to provide spiritual counseling and support to patients and their families in times of distress or crisis. This role involves responding to requests for pastoral care and acting as a spiritual resource for staff and family members. Adventist Health is a faith-based, nonprofit organization serving the West Coast and Hawaii.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in theology, spirituality, pastoral ministry, or equivalent from an accredited US Department of Education program
- Master of Divinity degree accredited from an accredited US Department of Education program (Preferred)
- Ecclesiastical endorsement from the chaplain's respective denomination or faith tradition (Required)
- Ability to provide pastoral care for patients in various situations
- Experience as a spiritual resource
