Job Description
Adventist Health is seeking a Staff Chaplain to provide spiritual counseling and support to patients and their families in various settings. The role involves providing comfort and spiritual guidance, responding to urgent situations, and working with hospital staff to improve patient and family care. Adventist Health emphasizes a faith-based and mission-driven approach to healthcare.
Requirements
- Master's of Divinity degree or equivalent
- Completed 2 units of Clinical Pastoral Education
- 3 years' related experience
- Direct pastoral ministry experience (preferred)
- Ecclesiastical endorsement from Seventh-day Adventist Church
- Board certified through APC, ACI or CPSP (or in process)
- Experience ministering in acute healthcare
- Experience with crisis intervention
