Job Description
Adventist Health Columbia Gorge is seeking a Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist to serve as a technical consultant, supervisor, and resource for all laboratory testing. The role involves maintaining laboratory performance, ensuring compliance with regulations and accreditation standards, and leading personnel training programs. The laboratory serves the Columbia River Gorge community from a hospital, medical offices, and birthing center.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, biological sciences, chemical sciences or allied health technologies or equivalent
- Five years' clinical laboratory experience
- Two years' leadership experience (Preferred)
- American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Certification preferred
- Facility Specific License/Certifications (ASCP or MT-AMT) preferred
- Certifications in Laboratory Statistics or Quality Control required
