Job Description
Advocates is seeking a Direct Service Worker to support individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges in the Deaf Services Division. The role involves direct client care, including medication management, financial assistance, community integration support, and ongoing supervision. Advocates emphasizes a healthy work-life balance and offers opportunities for professional growth.
Requirements
- Develop and document assessments.
- Participate in treatment meetings and document daily.
- Provide linkage with other service providers.
- Monitor medication administration.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Perform physical interventions as needed.
- Attend and actively participate in training.
- Provide crisis intervention.
- Maintain a valid driver's license.
- Have a valid driver's license and access to an operational vehicle
