Design Project Manager - Civic and Municipal

AECOM is seeking an experienced Design Project Manager based in Houston, Austin, or Dallas, TX to lead and execute interdisciplinary building design projects with a focus on Civic & Municipal projects. The role will provide high growth opportunity in steering business and client opportunity and serving as a role and advisor to the overall project team.

Requirements

• Acting as a primary point of contact with the client throughout the project lifecycle
• Working with interdisciplinary technical leads in the coordinated successful execution of projects in design and construction
• Reviewing contracts, preparing fee proposals and project execution strategies
• Managing and leading all technical, financial, and client satisfaction areas using established processes and tools
• Managing sub-consultant scope, fees, deliverables, and performance
• Leading the team to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and within budget
• Managing changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs to minimize risk
• Performing risk management to minimize project risks
• Maintaining project documentation control
