Project Controls Manager

Aecon is a Canadian leader in infrastructure development, and we're hiring a Project Controls Manager to join our team. As a Project Controls Manager, you will oversee cost, schedule, and performance tracking to support effective project delivery. You will work closely with project teams to recognize emerging issues, leverage lessons learned, and drive toolset/process adoption.

Requirements

• 10-15 years' construction industry experience
• Proven experience and ability in planning, scheduling, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, estimating and cost control
• Strong knowledge of the 'Earned Value Management' principles
• Ability to produce, read and modify schedules and scheduling curves/reports
• Proven ability to effectively lead project controls staff
• Proven strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly identify and articulate issues
• Proven problem solver with sound judgment who accepts ownership and accountability
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees
• Detail oriented and customer focused
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of SAP and required project controls software which may include Primavera, Hard Dollar, Accubid
