RN/Health Care Coordinator

AIM Services is seeking a Registered Nurse/Health Care Coordinator to support individuals with developmental disabilities in Residential and Day Services settings. The RN will coordinate healthcare, physical, emotional, and safety needs, and provide oversight and training to Direct Support Professionals.

Requirements

• Current/Valid New York State RN License
• One year of experience in medical/surgical nursing preferred
• One year of experience in the provision of services to individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
• Flexibility with schedule to support the individual(s) and/or DSP with a health-oriented issue
• Valid NYS Drivers’ License, acceptable to Agency insurance standards is preferred
• Strong organization skills with a keen ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain an influential level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Ability to remain calm in stressful or demanding situations
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
