Job Description
The Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting operations related to equipment usage and maintenance at customer sites, with a focus on strong communication and client service skills.
Requirements
- Assemble and disassemble tooling and production equipment
- Start up and shut down equipment according to operation's requirements and safety procedures
- Locate source of problems by observing mechanical devices and using precision measuring and testing instruments
- Remove defective parts by dismantling devices and using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools
- Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments using hand tools, levels, and straightedges
- Read, understand, and follow advanced job order specifications, blueprints, work instructions, and procedures
- Safely perform duties utilizing elevated platform equipment at various heights
- Promote and comply with good safety practices and habits, including the use of all PPE
- Perform other duties as assigned
