Job Description
Aizer Health is seeking a Certified Diabetes Educator to provide comprehensive diabetes education and counseling to pregnant patients. This role involves collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals, creating personalized care plans, and offering ongoing support to help patients manage their diabetes. Requirements
- Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) or eligibility to sit for the exam
- Experience counseling for and managing gestational diabetes within an MFM department and/or an Endocrine practice
- Strong knowledge of diabetes self-management practices and patient education techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
