Dental Assistants to provide dental services and support for military personal and their families.
Requirements
- Certificate or degree in Dental Assisting from a School of Dental Assistants approved by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA)
- Certification from a military dental technician or dental assistant 'A' school for at least 12 months experience within the preceding 60 months
- 12 months experience within the preceding 60 months as a dental assistant in a private practice or military dental clinic
- Membership in good standing with the American Association of Dental Assistants with required continuing education and 12 months experience within the preceding 60 months
- Graduation from a state accredited program for dental assistants or dental technology within the preceding 12 months
- Basic computer skills competency
- Able to perform aerosol-generating procedures in a high-risk environment and be certified to wear an N-95 respirator
