As a Technical Service Representative - Marine & Protective, you'll play a pivotal role in advising on paint applications and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards. You'll work with a dynamic customer base, including ship owners, marine consultants, and engineering contractors, to provide exceptional service and expertise.
Requirements
- Provide expert advice on paint specifications, application recommendations, and inspection procedures to ensure compliance with standards.
- Act as the liaison between AkzoNobel, the Account Executive, customers, and contractors.
- Prepare all relevant documentation prior to customer meetings and project initiation.
- Conduct on-site inspections and maintain a daily logbook of all site and project activities.
- Complete reports promptly and accurately, ensuring clarity and detail.
- Coach and train Technical Service Representative colleagues as needed.
- Support product testing and trials as required.
- Adhere to AkzoNobel's HSE rules and represent the company's position in case of disputes.
- Issue disclaimer letters when necessary and always uphold professionalism and ethical conduct.
