Corporate Legal Counsel

Alan is building a vertically integrated health partner that unites insurance and smart healthcare delivery into one seamless system. As the Corporate Legal Counsel, you will contribute to high-impact legal work, including owning the legal structuring and regulatory pathway for strategic launches, shepherding M&A transactions, and solving multi-jurisdictional equity challenges. You will work closely with product and business teams to define set-ups that are both legally sound and business-enabling.

Requirements

• 5 to 10 years Corporate, M&A and/or tax law practice in an international environment
• Strong expertise in at least one of Alan’s core corporate practice areas
• Mastery of legal writing in both French and English
• Challenger mindset, creativity, willingness to define innovative corporate law solutions and to take risks
• Intellectual curiosity, appetite to become an expert on types of work you are less familiar with
• Rigor and pragmatism, attention to detail, focus on excellence combined with simplification
• Business mind, understanding what really matters/creates value vs. theoretical legal points
• Missionary mindset, passion about working on an ambitious project with highly engaged teammates
