Job Description
The Government of Alberta is seeking an Advisor-Assessment and Property Tax Policy to join the Assessment Program Delivery team in the Assessment and Property Tax Policy Branch. The successful candidate will provide specialized advice to assessment and property tax stakeholders, research, analyze, and report on the assessment and property tax system, and develop analysis that reflects the impacts of proposed changes on the property assessment and taxes of property owners and municipalities.
Requirements
- A combination of 8 years of related education and work experience
- University graduation in fields such as Business, Public Policy, Political Science, Law, Economics, Engineering, or Science
- 4 years of progressively responsible related experience
- Professional accreditation through the Alberta Assessors’ Association, the Appraisal Institute of Canada, or the International Association of Assessing Officers
