Senior Project Manager - Building Assessment

AEI’s Building Assessment division is seeking a Senior Project Manager to perform Property Condition Assessments of commercial properties. This role involves managing building systems, conducting audits, assisting with energy and ADA audits, and providing technical reports. Candidates should be familiar with building types and systems, and possess strong analytical, communication, and technical writing skills.

Requirements

• 8 to 12+ years of previous experience performing forensic assessments of major building systems and conditions
• 2+ years of experience performing Property Condition Assessments required
• Knowledge and experience in assessing various property types
• Knowledge of the entitlement/permitting process and construction delivery methods and agreements
• Familiarity with construction best practices, general building codes, and various building types
• Previous construction administration, construction management, architecture, engineering or similar experience
• Previous experience performing PCAs or related projects
• Experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, or HUD guidelines and Property Needs Assessments
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Advanced writing and communication skills
• Personable and able to communicate with people at all levels
• Willingness to travel if necessary
