As Second Mate, you'll be responsible for the safe navigation and operational control of our offshore vessels. You'll work on marine operations worldwide, reporting to the Chief Mate and First Mate, and collaborating with a skilled bridge team and other departments.
Requirements
- Maritime education and compliance with all STCW requirements as per AIMS-VSL-MTX-0532-01 "Crew Certification Quick Reference Guide"
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Officer of the Watch
- Minimum 1 year of experience as (Junior) DPO in the offshore oil & gas, offshore construction, or dredging industry
- In possession of COC with competency level II/1 and IV/2 "Officer in charge of a Navigational Watch with NO limitations"
- DPO Unlimited certification
- HLO (OPITO) and Offshore Radio Operator certification (CAA)
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications
- A2 level English proficiency (spoken and written)
- Fulfilment of all training and qualification requirements in accordance with the applicable Allseas norms
- Good communication and reporting skills
