As Third Mate, you are essential to the safe navigation and operational control of our offshore vessels. You’ll work on marine operations worldwide, reporting to the Chief Mate and First Mate, and collaborating with a skilled bridge team and other departments.
Requirements
- Maritime education and compliance with all necessary STCW requirements
- COC with competency level II/1 and IV/2 ‘Officer in charge of a Navigational Watch with no limitations’
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications
- Proficient in the English language (spoken and written)
- Fulfilment of all training and qualification requirements in accordance with the applicable Allseas norms
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Minimum one-year experience as an Officer of the Watch (not required if internship completed within Allseas and with Master’s recommendation)
- Ability to act as Junior DP operator under supervision
- Ability to prepare voyage planning, monitor weather, and update navigational publications
- Familiarity with vessel stability, ballast control, and ship-to-ship logistics
- Experience in collaborating with survey, tension machine, ROV, and other departments
- Commitment to maintaining up-to-date personal documentation and compliance with company safety management systems
