Job Description
We have an urgent need for Welder candidates to work in a steel fabrication shop. The job involves performing welding and associated activities, conducting visual quality checks, and following safety requirements.
Requirements
- Must be a certified welder, unless otherwise specified.
- Experience with vertical welding is a plus.
- Must be AWS D1.1 qualified.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs alone and up to 100 lbs with a partner.
- Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Must be able to work in various postures, including flat, vertical, and overhead welding, as well as bending, reaching, and twisting.
- Must be able to wear a respirator when required.
- Must understand and speak English.
- Must have a good work ethic.
- Must have a clean background for the past 5 years.
- Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Must have a stable work history (example: at least one job held for 3 years)
