IT Engineer II

AllTrails is seeking an IT Engineer II to serve as our in-house MDM expert, partner with the people team, and provide IT support to employees. The role requires a strong background in IT operations, MDM, and project management, with a passion for the outdoors and AI tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years of experience working in IT operations
• Strong hands on experience with MDM (e.g., Kandji, JAMF, Jumpcloud) - managing both Mac and Windows
• Good working knowledge of: IDP Solutions (e.g., Okta), Asset Management tools, Zoom, Slack, Atlassian, Google Workspace
• Experience leading and managing IT projects autonomously
• Evangelizing IT best practices throughout organizations
• Willing to work 1 day a week at our HQ in San Francisco
• Cross functional team player with a track record of building positive relationships with peers and others within your company
• Ability to deal with some amount of ambiguity and a need for little to no guidance
• Bias for actions
