The Lifecycle Copywriter role involves creating copy that connects, converts, and retains customers across every lifecycle stage. This role requires developing scalable copy systems, producing winning messages fast, and transforming owned lifecycle channels into revenue-driving engines.
Requirements
- Own lifecycle copy strategy by developing briefs and messaging approaches driven by customer insights, behavioral data, and performance metrics.
- Write high-converting copy across Email, SMS, in-app, and direct mail for onboarding, education, upsells, winback, reactivation, and more.
- Create segmentation and personalization frameworks using zero-, first-, and behavioral-party data to deliver timely, relevant, and personalized messaging.
- Build and optimize modular copy systems that make personalization scalable across automated lifecycle flows.
- Run A/B tests and analyze performance to identify winning patterns and continuously optimize campaign results.
- Own churn prevention and winback messaging, including cancellation flows, reactivation campaigns, and retention-focused communication strategies.
- Partner with CRO, CX, and UX/UI teams to improve landing pages, cancellation experiences, and lifecycle conversion journeys.
- Build internal systems and leverage AI tools to increase message velocity, consistency, and long-term retention impact.
