We're looking for a full-time Industrial Quality Engineer/Technician to ensure the compliance of products and parts delivered and serviced by Alstom facilities, contributing to the quality and safety of our innovative transportation systems.
Requirements
- Performing inspections of subassemblies or finished products using defined criteria and standard measurements
- Inspecting and accepting or rejecting products based on working instructions
- Documenting non-conformance reports (NCRs) and inspection results, and initiating corrective actions
- Maintaining controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner
- Following up on open issues and driving actions for closure
- Ensuring proper calibration of critical equipment and instrumentation used in inspections
- Assisting in writing and updating inspection procedures, protocols, and checklists
- Evaluating problems and recommending corrective actions
- Alerting industrial teams on risks of missing parts due to defects
- Reporting inspection results and key performance indicators (KPIs) to the Industrial Quality Manager
- Stopping production in case of critical defects requiring mandatory rework
- Supporting manufacturing teams with self-inspection processes
- Ensuring quality animation methodology in line with APSYS requirements
