Job Description
Alstom is seeking a Senior Indirect Buyer to join their team in Bautzen, Germany. This role focuses on procurement, including group leadership, strategy, operational efficiency, and performance monitoring. The position involves evaluating and acquiring goods and services from external suppliers, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize processes and reduce costs.
Requirements
- Completed university degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in purchasing, ideally in indirect procurement
- Experience in an industrial environment is a plus
- Exceptional skills in negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder management
- Fluent German and good English proficiency
- Knowledge in SAP MM and Ariba (S2C, P2P, CLM) is preferred
- Knowledge in Power BI and modern tools
