Job Description
Amca is building airplanes for the 21st century. As a Machinist, you will work with senior machinists, tool makers, and engineering teams to run prototype parts, develop tools, perform CNC machining operations, and roll out short run production parts to rapidly convert design ideas into prototypes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in machining, with a focus on aerospace or high-precision components
- Knowledge of CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, HyperMill, Esprit) and 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Catia)
- Understanding of G-code, M-code, and CNC program editing
- Strong GD&T knowledge, understanding blueprints, and basic materials knowledge
- Hands-on experience with inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators)
