Amcor is seeking a U.S.-based attorney to support its North American Rigid Packaging business. The selected candidate will provide legal support and partnership across Amcor divisions with legal needs in North America.
Requirements
- Provide legal support and partnership across Amcor divisions with legal needs in North America.
- Legal review and preparation of customer supply agreements, procurement agreements, real estate leases and other real estate contracts, equipment leases, and many other types of contracts.
- Handle pre-litigation dispute resolution, including working directly with members of the Legal Litigation Team.
- Collaborate with other members of the Legal Team to implement a global framework for the delivery of legal services to support Amcor’s global business.
- Work closely with members of the Legal Team to develop a best-in-class team which partners with the business in a timely and effective way to drive profitability, business growth, and success.
- Engage in continuous learning of the business through formal and self-directed activities.
- Identify, develop, and implement forms and processes to improve the efficiency of handling internal legal matters.
- Identify and analyze risk and communicate the same along with mitigation recommendations to the appropriate levels of the business.
- Assist in the management of outside counsel to ensure overall quality and value of legal services.
