Job Description
The VPCA will lead all aspects of APA’s work in the 'Aligning K12 Education and Youth Development’ issue area, including community growth, member engagement, and strategic planning. This role involves designing and launching new initiatives, managing a large network of organizations, and securing funding to support their growth. APA's community of leading nonprofit organizations offers a unique platform for collaboration and collective action.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in national nonprofit organizations
- Deep knowledge of field dynamics, funders, policy, and experts
- Experience in program design, continuous improvement, and evaluation
- Strong leadership skills and network building
- Experience in fundraising and maintaining funding relationships
- Experience facilitating convenings with senior-level leaders
- Flexibility in work location
