Production Chemical Engineer

American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) is seeking a Production Chemical Engineer to sustain and improve the operation of their lithium-ion battery recycling and refining processes. The role involves troubleshooting, implementing process improvements, and collaborating with engineering and external experts. This position requires a problem-solver with a keen interest in process systems.

Requirements

• Sustain 24/7 production operations.
• Support commissioning and startup activities.
• Implement process improvement projects to improve yield, uptime, product quality, and reduce OpEx.
• Work with the operations team to author documentation.
• Investigate equipment and processes underperforming, troubleshooting and implementing changes.
• Produce PFDs, P&IDs, Mass and Energy Balances, Equipment Specs.
• Collaborate with vendors.
• Document lessons learned.
• Review and update document records.
