Job Description
This Senior Surveyor I position is an intermediate to advanced role involving examining and reporting on vessels for compliance with Classification and ABS requirements. Responsibilities include performing inspections, preparing reports, managing client interactions, and providing leadership. The role contributes to maintaining the safety of life at sea and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements
- Qualifications from a tertiary institution within a relevant field of engineering or physical science (minimum two (2) years program); or
- Qualifications from a marine or nautical institution and relevant seagoing experience as a certificated ship officer, and
- Minimum three (3) years of experience working as a Surveyor II.
