R Developer

We are seeking a Python Developer for a 12-month contract position with potential to extend longer or convert to FTE. The position is hybrid, with a couple of days per week onsite in Jacksonville, FL. Requirements

• Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures
• In-depth understanding of the systems development life cycle
• Database knowledge in SQL, DB2/Netezza or SQL Server
• Excellent understanding of RESTful Architecture style
• Ability to evaluate various libraries with pros and cons to meet business / technical requirements
• Experience working with REST APIs using Python
• Experience processing batch files using Python
• Experience developing scheduling of batch processes
• Proficiency using standard desktop applications such as MS Suite and flowcharting tools such as Visio
