Utility Mechanic

The Utility Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing water and sewer systems, including performing tests, repairs, and installations. The individual will also be responsible for upholding all Company policies and procedures relative to safety and acting in a professional manner to reduce the exposure of hazards to their crew members, customers, contractors, and themselves.

Requirements

• Geographical knowledge of the Company's service area and water distribution and sewer collection systems
• Understanding of gradients, piping networks, basic fluid and flow principles, and basic electrical theory and related safety procedures
• Ability to operate Company equipment and vehicles
• Commercial Drivers' License (Class A) with appropriate endorsements
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass motor vehicle background check
