Job Description
Utility Mechanic I job in Plainfield, NJ. Responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and controlling the safe and efficient utilization of Company and valve operating equipment. Must have high school diploma or GED and at least 1-2 years of experience as a Utility Mechanic I.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a Utility Mechanic I
- Geographical knowledge of the Company's service area and distribution system
- Understanding of gradients, piping networks, basic fluid and flow principles, and basic electrical theory and related safety procedures
