Manufacturing Engineer- Motions

Manufacturing Engineer responsible for providing manufacturing engineering expertise to support existing and new products, implementing lean initiatives and leading continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience of working within a similar role
• Previous experience of NPI
• Experience of implementing Standard Work processes
• Proven record of successfully implementing Lean in an industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
• Experience of using problem solving techniques (5 Why’s, Fishbone/Ishikawa diagrams, 8D)
• Significant technical & problem solving experience in an electro-mech. manufacturing environment.
• Good time management and planning / managing complex long term projects
• Significant IT skills, Microsoft Office, Word and Excel at Intermediate level
• Experience of working within an Aerospace Manufacturing environment, Automotive or very closely related industry.
