Job Description
AMETEK SFMS is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to work on the development of aerospace components with a focus on pressure sensors, temperature sensors, speed sensors, air flow sensors, and interconnecting cables.
Requirements
- Design, manufacture, test, and certification of electromechanical sensing devices
- Develop new technologies to sustain competitive advantage
- Create 3D models using SolidWorks
- Create and issue technical documentation
- Perform structural, thermal, fatigue, and dimensional analyses
- Review customer and industry specifications
- Integrate design for six sigma, reliability, and manufacturability into each product design
