Job Description
Abaco Systems is seeking a Quality Technician to join their growing team. The role involves customer, supplier, and internal quality initiatives, including product inspections and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities include improving process metrics, conducting audits, and leading training for new hires.
Requirements
- Responsible for improvement of key process metrics
- Certified in IPC 610 class 3 workmanship standards
- Apply, interpret, and explain identified IPC defects for defect reporting
- AS9102 FAI preparation and presentation
- Lead improvement activities involving Lean principles and tools
- Conduct QMS training for new hires
- Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- ESD Program knowledge
- Six Sigma Green Belt/Lean experience desired
- Must be able to read and understand assembly drawings for the purpose of inspections
