The Associate Channel Manager supports the Senior Manager, Channel Management, by creating and executing high-impact marketing programs with respective customers or channels. This position is responsible for creating and executing effective product launches, winning and protecting listings in line reviews, securing new promotional business, and may also be integral to the development of new products that will be sold.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration preferred
- 2+ marketing experience
- Experience in initiating and building mutually beneficial marketing relationships with third parties and or external partners is a plus
- Proven ability to deliver data-driven results, analysis, testing and application of findings
- Credibility to influence and impress at senior level and represent the company in all types of business situations
- Excellent presenter (internal staff meetings, customer meetings, etc) with strong written and oral communication skills (emails, flyers, conference calls, etc)
- Selling or customer contact; experience with distribution
- End user work and new product introduction experience
- Strategic planning experience
- Cross-functional team management
- Computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); database skills a plus
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing situations
- Very hands-on – able to dive into and manage the details, as well as provide overall strategic thinking and leadership
- Ability to travel (~20%)
