Job Description
We are looking for a Materials Project Manager to join our team at Applied Materials. As a leader in materials engineering solutions, we design, build, and service cutting-edge equipment that helps our customers manufacture display and semiconductor chips. The successful candidate will develop and execute dual-sourcing strategies, lead supplier selection and onboarding, and drive supplier readiness activities.
Requirements
- Develop and execute dual-sourcing strategies for advanced materials commodity (Ceramics, Quartz, Special Coatings).
- Lead supplier selection, qualification, and onboarding in partnership with Commodity Management, BU/Mfg. Operations, SQE, and Engineering teams.
- Own end-to-end program management of dual-source projects, including Project identification, RFQ activity, Qual./Ramp PO, timelines, technical readiness, risk mitigation, and cross-functional alignment.
