Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the property and casualty (P&C) insurance industry
- Knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements related to insurance carrier operations
- Understanding of the legislative process and proficient in the analysis of industry related legislation
- Experience responding to regulatory inquiries, examinations, and audits
- Ability to conduct legal research using tools such as WestLaw, Lexis, ODEN, and Wolters Kluwer
- Capable of handling complex and/or ambiguous issues and situations
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to clearly and concisely explain compliance concerns
- Familiar with SERFF filing platform and the filing process for insurance products
- Ability to take initiative and work under minimal supervision
- PC skills including Microsoft Office products
